As summer is coming to end, there are so many new beginnings. New semester, which means new classes, new people, a new ward, new roommates and most importantly, new ADVENTURES! I have loved this summer and I am looking forward to what is in store for me in the next couple of months! Can you believe that 2015 is only 4 more months away?! Where did the time go?! Anyways, there is a cute tabernacle in town that my awesome roommate did a photo-shoot at. I am amazed at how beautifully the pictures turned out. She is such a good photographer and such a natural at what she does! After looking through the pictures, I was thinking about how fast time has gone and how many times have I really captured the moments? Don't get me wrong, I do my best to live in the moment and I'm extremely happy with my life.. but as fast as the time has gone, there are so many beautiful moments that we often let slip away.
Yesterday, Conrad and I went to the fair. I love to people watch. I guess you could call it a hobby.. just kidding.. but its really fun to see different people interacting. There was one guy at the fair who did spray-painting paintings. I was caught off guard at how fast he can do a picture and how breath-taking they were! Then there was the magic shows, the hypnotist shows and all the different talents people would share. I loved every minute of it. I've loved every minute of this summer.
Summer is such a big deal to me. There is so much potential and so much to do. How is it possible that one girl can do it all? I've floated the river, I've swam in different freezing cold rivers, volleyball is a must along with bonfires and s'mores! Then theres the obvious star gazing (Which is amazing in Rexburg btw), attended atomic days, went to the fair, got chased by some crazy people, enjoyed many flavors of snow cones, gone to water parks, slowly watched my tan lines get whiter and whiter and my skin get darker and darker, went on hikes, picnics on the rooftop, danced in the rain and survived the flood! What else could you possibly want?! But as summer comes to an end, I know theres a beginning for new adventures and learning.
